The spewing of thoughts from Masao's brain...

I'm pink?

Yesterday, I spent a good portion of my day outside enjoying the summer weather, of course the thought of putting on sun screen completely blew my mind. So needless to say my usual Casper white skin is pink. It doesn't hurt much, but makes me look more ridiculous than usual.

Lately, nothing too interesting has been going on. Pretty much summer classes and work have consumed a good portion of my time. I made some excellent choices in regards to my summer courses, they've been pretty interesting and have had relatively moderate course work load thus far.

Life has been good, just busy and I kind of like it that way. I enjoy always having something to do either for pleasure or... pain ;) If nothing else, having the option to do something.

As most people know, I've lost a bit of weight in the past year. People seem to have been amazed at it, like I had found the Holy Grail of Weight Loss and I'm hoarding its secrets from the world. I always get a bit tickled when they how I have done such. What I've done there is nothing special; staying active and having a moderate diet (in regards to portions, I still eat whatever I want) is what I've done. It takes nothing more than that and a little bit of drive/commitment. I guess you have to be doing it for the "right reasons", not only to change your appearance. I've kept to it because I use exercise (jogging) as an outlet. Some people mediate or involve themselves in a hobby, but for me it is jogging. Combine that and the desire to be healthy, you have my motivation to sticking with it. :)

I've gotten some interesting reactions to it, too. Everything kind of reaction from amazement/non-recognition to negativity/jealousy. It has been an interesting experience.

OK :-)

Okay, so I decided to once again continue streaming my thoughts directly on the interwebs, once again. Scary, I know. Hopefully, I won't clog the tubes! Just don't expect frequent updates and of course if you really want to know what's going on in my life... Just give me a buzz.

Life?

Does anyone still read this? Let me know, I'm debating if I should finally kick the bucket or not..

091507: Ramble Ramble Cookie!

Ah, craziness! It has been a while since I've posted anything, I have just been busy as ever. Not really a bad thing, I enjoy being busy, oddly enough. It seems that I've just become so used to it that without being busy I feel bored. Not that I no longer enjoy relaxing or periods of doing nothing, but these seem less enjoyable or valuable without the random crazy "must get this done" interrupts.

So this semester is going really well and thus far has been pretty fun, even though I have a couple of classes that are attempting to kill me. I've gotten a job at one of the local libraries, which is alright. I like the fact I have some spending money income coming in and well it keeps me busy :D Speaking of being busying.... *poof*

I <3 VICKS

Today I discovered my long lost deep love for VICKS VapoRub mmm... you make the world go round baby!

So the past few days have been a blur, mostly filled with sleeping. I am still not 100% back on my feet, but at least no longer in serious pain every time I swallow. I do still need to take the pain medication in order to consume edibles. Also I can speak somewhat with not as much pain... I just sound like I'm underwater, which is amusing. So in short, I'm stttttttttttil recovering.

So Lola has started to venture downstairs. Yesterday, she was down there a good hour or two, looking around. She does not seem to mind the dogs, although the dogs are still unsure of what to make of her. The fact that I bribed her down with some tasty tuna water really why she came down, but she seemed very content downstairs. Hopefully, she claims the downstairs as her own territory so while I'm work she can have company with mom and the furry things. She is very interested in the puppy's play pens, which is something we need to keep her out of it, the puppies look like furry mice.

Speaking of which, Keiko has had her puppies, three male teacups (smallest kind of maltese). They very cute. I'll post some photos once I snap a few good ones. It may take a couple of days before keiko will let me place the puppies in an environment with bright lighting. Gabby still has not had hers yet, but she has been showing signs of labor for the past two days... so anytime now.
